Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to plan and administer treatment plans designed to alleviate pain, restore function, prevent disabilities, and promote overall fitness and health for patients in an outpatient orthopedic setting.

This role requires an IDFPR-licensed PT, BLS within 30 days, and a Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy. Outpatient ortho experience is preferred; you’ll join a team focused on education and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in good standing with IDFPR.
• BLS within 30 days as required by credentialing.
• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy (Required).
• Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans and administers PT treatment plans to alleviate pain and restore function.
• Demonstrates safe body mechanics and respectful patient care.
• Designs care plans with goals, outcomes, and discharge planning.
• Educates patients and families using effective teaching methods.
• Evaluates findings to determine PT diagnoses and outcomes.
• Performs examinations and appropriate screening procedures.
• Monitors care by support personnel and provides feedback.
• Communicates with the medical team and documents care.
• Meets customer service and productivity standards.
• Acts as a clinical instructor as assigned and participates in team activities.
