Job summary

Abbott is seeking an Outpatient Account Executive for the APOC division to drive growth in Milwaukee and Southern Wisconsin. You will lead commercial execution, build distributor partnerships, and move opportunities through an efficient sales cycle while collaborating with internal teams.

The role requires 4+ years of sales experience or 1+ year with clinical background, a bachelor’s degree, and up to 50% travel. Strong MS Office and Salesforce CRM skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 4+ years of relevant sales experience or 1+ years with a clinical background (BSN, MLT, CLS, RT, Cardiac Tech, etc.).
• Must reside in the territory and be able to travel up to 50% in the assigned territory and other locations.
• Preferred: Diagnostics/POC/lab or capital equipment sales experience.
• Distribution experience; top performer in sales; strong MS Office and CRM skills.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and grow relationships with APOC and Distributor Partners in the assigned territory.
• Achieve sales targets through efficient sales cycle and territory management.
• Identify and develop KOLs to advocate for Point of Care solutions.
• Maintain base while closing new business in new and existing accounts.
• Navigate complex sales environments with multiple stakeholders and drive strategy.
• Develop and execute sales strategies and risk mitigation plans.
• Complete administrative tasks promptly (training, expenses, forecasts).
• Travel within territory up to 50% and some regional overnight travel.
