Job summary

Carle Health seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to plan and administer treatment plans that alleviate pain, restore function, and promote overall health. The role serves as a clinical resource for staff and students and emphasizes safe, compassionate patient care.

Outpatient orthopedic experience is preferred; IL IDFPR licensure and BLS within 30 days are required. Sign-on bonuses and relocation support are available to eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) with IDFPR licensure.
• BLS certification to be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Designs an appropriate plan of care with goals, treatment, outcomes, and discharge plan.
• Educates patients, family, caregivers, and other health care providers.
• Performs examinations and determines physical therapy diagnoses and outcomes.
• Monitors care delivered by support personnel and provides feedback.
• Communicates with the medical team and documents care per standards.
• Acts as clinical instructor when assigned and participates in team activities.
