Responsibilities

• Aid in planning and administering PT treatment plans to alleviate pain and restore function.
• Demonstrate safe body mechanics and professional conduct with patients and staff.
• Design and adjust plans of care with goals, treatment, outcomes, and discharge plan.
• Educate patients, families and other providers using effective teaching methods.
• Evaluate clinical findings to determine PT diagnosis and outcomes of care.
• Perform examinations using validated methods relevant to chief complaint and history.
• Screen patients to determine need for therapy services under ethical guidelines.
• Monitor care delivered by support personnel and provide feedback.
• Communicate with the medical team and document per department standards.
• Meet customer service and productivity standards and act as clinical instructor when needed.
