Job summary

Mercy Health in Toledo is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to perform initial and ongoing assessments and deliver therapeutic interventions across inpatient, outpatient, pediatric, and off-site settings.

You will develop treatment plans, document progress in the EMR, supervise therapy assistants, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care while meeting department standards.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of current practice (required).
• BLS Basic Life Support (required within 30 days for RSFH; preferred upon hire for BSMH).
• 2 years of experience in equivalent setting (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients and develops an appropriate treatment plan with goals.
• Provides direct therapy daily following the plan of care and current standards of practice.
• Maintains accurate records in the EMR and provides timely co-signature for PTAs when applicable.
• Maintains productivity while delivering quality care and meeting department standards.
• Follows safety, infection control, and time/off policy requirements.
• Supervises the PT assistant’s treatment interventions.
