Job summary

Mercy Health in Kings Mills is seeking a Physical Therapist to perform initial and ongoing assessments and provide skilled therapeutic interventions across inpatients, outpatients, pediatrics and off-site locations within the care continuum.

You will document progress in the electronic medical record, develop and revise treatment plans, supervise therapy assistants when applicable, and collaborate with physicians, families and colleagues to ensure high‑quality, patient‑centered care.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of practice (required)
• BLS certification preferred or required within 30 days for some sites
• 2 years of experience in a similar setting preferred
• Ability to work with pediatric, adult and geriatric patients
• Strong documentation and computer skills

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients and develops treatment plans with goals
• Provides direct therapy and instruction to patients and families
• Maintains accurate progress notes and documents in EMR
• Supervises PT assistants as applicable
• Adheres to safety, infection control and departmental procedures
• Collaborates with physicians and care teams to ensure quality care
