Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to perform initial and ongoing assessments and provide skilled interventions across outpatient, inpatient, pediatric, and off-site settings. You will develop treatment plans, educate patients and families, and document care in the electronic medical record.

This role requires 2 years of experience (preferred) and licensure in the practicing state with BLS potentially required.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of practice (or qualify for traineeship/temporary license).
• BLS Basic Life Support preferred; required within 30 days for some locations.
• 2 years of experience in a similar setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients, gather information, and develop a treatment plan with goals.
• Provide daily direct therapy per plan of care and educate patients/families on procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of treatment, progress, and orders in EMR; co-sign for PTAs when needed.
• Maintain productivity and deliver care that meets department standards.
• Uphold safety, infection control, time-off and timecard policies.
• Supervise physical therapist assistants and support professional growth.
