Job summary

Elliot Health System in Manchester, NH seeks a Supervisor Outpatient Phlebotomy – Lab Department Non-Technical. This role oversees phlebotomy and support departments, ensuring accuracy from specimen collection and exceptional patient service.

You will schedule staff for multiple outpatient sites (Manchester, Londonderry, Hooksett and Bedford), supervise training, maintain competency, write policies, and help manage the yearly budget with the Laboratory Support Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in medical or biological science preferred.
• ASCP certification preferred.
• A minimum of 3–5 years of laboratory experience required.
• Previous lead or supervisor experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations of phlebotomy and support departments to ensure patient care.
• Schedule personnel to provide adequate coverage across sites.
• Coordinate orientation and training of staff and students.
• Maintain staff competency and document evaluations.
• Develop and enforce policies and procedures; assist budgeting.
• Coordinate traveling phlebotomy and off-site locations.
