Job summary

The Elliot Health System is seeking a Clinical Lab Assistant – Phlebotomist at its Main Campus in Manchester, NH. This 40-hour-per-week role runs 5am-1:30pm with weekend and holiday rotation, and involves patient contact, specimen processing, and clerical support in a full-service lab.

Responsibilities include venipuncture, specimen labeling, and order entry, while maintaining sample integrity and delivering results.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy course or experience preferred.
• ASCP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient requisitions are complete and accurate.
• Perform routine venipuncture and capillary collection using proper technique.
• Receive specimens, verify demographics, and document collections.
• Enter laboratory orders into the system and manage documentation.
• Provide patient testing results and assist with non-technical tasks in the lab.
• Answer calls and support client services in a professional manner.
• Maintain specimen integrity from collection to storage and transport.
