Job summary

The Elliot Hospital Laboratory in Manchester, NH seeks a Supervisor Outpatient Phlebotomy to oversee phlebotomy operations across main campus and travel to outpatient sites in Manchester, Londonderry, Hooksett and Bedford.

This full-time role requires 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with flexibility, supervising staff, training, scheduling, and ensuring quality and regulatory standards while managing budgets and client relations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in medical or biological science preferred.
• ASCP certification preferred; minimum 3–5 years of laboratory experience; supervisor/lead experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee phlebotomy and support department operations to ensure patient care and accuracy from collection.
• Schedule personnel to provide adequate coverage and efficient use.
• Oversee orientation and training of staff and students.
• Maintain documentation of training and staff competency.
• Review and update policies and procedures.
• Prepare and monitor the annual budget in collaboration with Laboratory Support Manager.
• Coordinate off-site phlebotomy locations and traveling phlebotomy teams.
• Interact with clients and collaborate with Business Development and Clinical Specialist.
