Elliot Hospital is seeking a Supervisor Outpatient Phlebotomy to oversee phlebotomy operations across main campus and traveling to outpatient sites in Manchester and surrounding towns. The role emphasizes accurate specimen collection, staff oversight, and customer service to patients and clients.

The position requires 3–5 years of lab experience with leadership experience; ASCP certification is preferred. Primary location is the main campus with travel to sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in medical or biological science preferred.
• ASCP certification preferred.
• 3–5 years of laboratory experience required; lead or supervisor experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily phlebotomy operations and staff.
• Ensure customer service and resolve issues.
• Schedule personnel for coverage.
• Orient and train new staff and students.
• Document training and evaluations.
• Coordinate off-site phlebotomy and traveling teams.
• Maintain readiness for state inspections.
• Develop staff skills and foster teamwork.
• Prepare annual budget with Lab Support Manager.
• Interact with clients and support business development.
