Job summary

St. Luke’s University Health Network is seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist to provide patient-centered lab support across PSC settings. You will collect specimens of all ages, ensure accurate labeling, and support Epic registration workflows while maintaining safety and high-quality care.

You will assist with kiosk registration, non-blood specimen collection, and outpatient EKGs, while adhering to regulatory standards and relay accurate information to the lab teams.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy program completion certificate or documented competency.
• Minimum of 100 successful venipunctures.
• Basic computer skills, with the ability to use Epic or other electronic health record systems.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Reliable transportation to arrive at work locations as scheduled.
• Preferred: one year of phlebotomy experience.
• Experience with outpatient laboratory workflows, patient service center operations, specimen collection, specimen handling, processing, registration, and patient identification practices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood specimens from patients of all ages using venipuncture, capillary collection, or heel sticks.
• Label specimens, verify integrity, and follow safety and regulatory standards.
• Support Epic registration workflows and registration processes.
• Assist with kiosk registration and non-blood specimen collection.
• Perform outpatient EKGs and route studies in Epic.
• Maintain equipment, cleanliness, and supply inventory at PSC sites.
