Job summary

St. Luke's Health Network, Inc. is seeking a Phlebotomist to provide patient-centered laboratory support across Patient Service Center settings, performing venipuncture, capillary collection, and heel sticks for diverse age groups, while ensuring proper patient identification and specimen labelling.

The role includes assisting with Epic registration, outpatient EKGs, specimen processing, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards to support high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient-centered registration, laboratory, and diagnostic services in PSC settings while maintaining professionalism, service excellence, patient safety, confidentiality, and compliance with Network and departmental standards.
• Performs blood specimen collection from patients across all age groups and patient populations, using appropriate equipment and technique for venipuncture, capillary collection, and heel sticks.
• Accurately labels specimens, verifies specimen integrity, and follows established laboratory collection, handling, safety, infection prevention, and SLUHN policies and manuals.
