Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a Phlebotomist in Bethlehem, PA to provide patient-centered laboratory support across Patient Service Center settings.

The role includes collecting blood specimens by venipuncture, capillary collection, and heel sticks for all ages, labeling specimens, and ensuring proper workflow within Epic. You will assist with registration workflows, outpatient EKGs, and specimen processing while maintaining safety and compliance with departmental standards.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy program completion certificate or documented competency.
• Minimum of 100 successful venipunctures.
• Basic computer skills and experience with Epic or registration systems.
• One year phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture, capillary collection, and heel sticks across all ages.
• Label specimens accurately and ensure proper handling and transport.
• Support Epic registration workflows and patient check-in processes.
• Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and lab policies.
• Communicate effectively with patients, clinicians, and PSC staff.
