Job summary

St. Luke’s University Health Network is seeking a Phlebotomist to provide patient-centered laboratory support across Patient Service Center settings. Responsibilities include venipuncture, specimen labeling, order verification, and Epic registration workflow support.

The role covers pediatric to geriatric patients and requires adherence to safety and regulatory standards. The position involves traveling between PSC locations as needed, flexible coverage including mornings and a rotating Saturday

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy program completion or demonstrated competency (100+ venipunctures) is required.
• Basic computer skills; able to use Epic/EHR, registration tools and lab applications.
• One year phlebotomy experience and outpatient lab workflow familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered registration, lab and diagnostic services in PSC settings.
• Perform venipuncture, capillary collection, and heel sticks across age groups.
• Label specimens accurately and ensure proper handling and storage.
• Assist with kiosk registration workflows and Epic registration tasks.
• Process non-blood specimens and perform outpatient EKGs when assigned.
• Maintain equipment, site cleanliness, and inventory; support coordination with teams.
