St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a Phlebotomist to provide patient-centered laboratory support across Patient Service Center settings.

Responsibilities include blood collection (venipuncture, capillary, heel sticks), accurate labeling, order verification, and Epic registration workflows. The role supports additional PSC tasks such as non-blood specimen collection and outpatient EKGs, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Formación

• Phlebotomy knowledge and competency; 100 venipunctures minimum.
• Proficiency with Epic/EHR systems and patient registration workflows.
• Strong customer service and effective communication skills.
• Ability to collect specimens across age groups and ensure proper labeling and handling.
• Travel between PSC locations as needed to support coverage.

Responsabilidades

• Provide patient-centered registration, laboratory, and diagnostic services in PSC settings.
• Perform phlebotomy including venipuncture, capillary collection, and heel sticks across age groups.
• Label specimens accurately and ensure proper transfer to the core laboratory.
• Assist with non-blood specimen collection and outpatient EKG when required.
• Maintain competency in PPE use, Epic registration workflows, and insurance verification as applicable.
• Communicate effectively with patients, registration teams, and laboratory staff to ensure smooth operations.
