Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking an Occupational Therapist for the Network Float Pool in the greater Phoenix area. The role provides evaluation, treatment planning, and ongoing therapy for individuals with physical disabilities to restore function and enhance daily living skills.

The therapist will work with an interdisciplinary team, develop and update plans of care, and ensure documentation and billing compliance. This role emphasizes patient-centered care, teamwork, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university approved by the AOTA.
• Masters or Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy preferred.
• Six (6) months of recent experience in a network float position preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implements individualized OT treatment plans using evidence-based techniques and documents progress.
• Evaluates patients and develops comprehensive care plans with measurable goals and discharge plans.
• Maintains accurate medical records, billing details, and communication with care teams.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to coordinate discharge planning and follow-up needs.
• Supervises therapy assistants and supports staff development and process improvements.
• Participates in rounds, utilization review, and departmental meetings.
