Job summary

Inova OBGYN is seeking a dedicated Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time day shift (Mon–Fri, 8:00am–4:30pm) in Falls Church, VA. The role focuses on outpatient clinical care, patient education, and comprehensive nursing responsibilities within a leading healthcare system.

Ideal candidates hold a BSN, Virginia RN licensure (or eligibility), and BLS certification, with a preference for 1–2 years of RN experience in outpatient settings.

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited school required or must be completed within the specified timeframe.
• RN license in Virginia or eligibility to practice is required.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs essential duties to support clinic/non-acute operations (Full Intakes).
• Reconciliation of Medications and patient education responsibilities.
• Provides safe/therapeutic care in a patient-centered manner.
• Vaccinations/Injections/Phlebotomy and independent clinical decision making.
