Job summary

Inova Health System is seeking an Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) for the Inova 360 program in Reston, VA. This full-time, day-shift role (Mon-Fri, 8:30am-5:00pm) supports vaccines, phlebotomy, and essential outpatient care in a physician practice setting.

The ideal candidate holds a BSN, VA RN license (or eligibility), and BLS. Ambulatory care experience is preferred, with opportunities to mentor staff and contribute to patient education and safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited school of nursing; ADN requires BSN within 5 years of start date.
• RN licensed or eligible to practice in Virginia.
• BLS from the American Heart Association.
• Preferred: 2 years of experience in ambulatory medicine.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive clinical duties in a physician practice or outpatient setting.
• Administers vaccinations and injections; performs phlebotomy.
• Conducts full intakes and medication reconciliation.
• Provides patient and family education to meet care needs and outcomes.
• Ensures safe, holistic, and evidence-based care; supports team productivity.
• Acts as a resource, mentor, and preceptor within the clinic.
