Job summary

Inova Health System seeks an Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) to join Inova Children's Multispecialty in Fairfax, VA. This full-time, day-shift role runs Monday through Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm. You will provide patient-centered outpatient care in a physician practice setting.

Eligible candidates hold an RN license in Virginia, BSN preferred, with 1 year of RN experience preferred. Benefits include health coverage, retirement matching, education assistance, and mental health support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or ADN required; BSN preferred (within 5 years if ADN)
• RN licensure in Virginia or eligible to practice in Virginia
• Certification: BLS from American Heart Association
• 1 year of RN experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs essential duties in outpatient clinic operations: prior authorization, medication refills, in-basket, injections, patient education
• Provides safe, holistic nursing care in a physician practice or outpatient setting
• Delivers direction and guidance to teammates as a resource and mentor
• Supports efficiency and productivity in care delivery; makes independent clinical decisions
