Job summary

Inova Occupational Health in Alexandria, VA is seeking a dedicated Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) for a part-time day shift. Clinic hours are from 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday.

The RN will perform essential duties in an outpatient clinic, including immunizations, patient education, and care coordination. Minimum BSN, Virginia RN license or eligibility, and BLS are required. Preference given to candidates with 2 years in Occupational Health.

Qualifications

• BSN is required; ADN holders must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
• RN license in Virginia or eligibility to practice is required.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform essential duties in outpatient clinic operations including full intakes, medication reconciliation, patient education, vaccinations/injections/phlebotomy.
• Provide safe, holistic care in a physician practice or outpatient setting with a focus on patient and family education.
• Offer guidance to team members and ensure efficient delivery of care; participate in care improvements.
