Inova Health System's Inova Cares for Women seeks a Lead Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Falls Church, VA team. This full-time day role requires clinical leadership in an outpatient setting, guiding staff and ensuring patient safety and high-quality care.

Responsibilities include supervising clinic operations, coordinating medication reconciliation, patient education, and mentoring the outpatient team as a clinical resource.

Qualificações

Inova Cares for Women is looking for a dedicated Lead Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) to join the team. This role will be full time day shift from Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm.

Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) Job Responsibilities:

• Performs essential duties necessary to clinic or non-acute operations to include:

  • Full Intakes
  • Reconciliation of Medications
  • Patient Education

• Serves as a clinical expert and a team lead for all clinical staff in the outpatient environment while communicating effectively and working cooperatively with others.

• Achieves desired patient outcomes using integrated approach.

• Ensures improvements in practice settings by assuming responsibility for self-development in lifelong learning and providing direction and guidance to others regarding practice.

• Serves as a resource, preceptor and mentor to the outpatient team.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Licensure: RN licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse.
• Experience: 3 years of Registered Nurse clinical experience.
• Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous outpatient experience as a Registered Nurse
• Previous leadership, charge or preceptor experience
• ACLS from the American Heart Association
