Inova OBGYN in Falls Church, VA is seeking a dedicated Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) to support our outpatient clinic operations on a full-time day shift (Mon-Fri, 8:00am–4:30pm).

Required BSN (ADN with BSN within 5 years) and Virginia RN licensure, plus BLS certification. The role emphasizes comprehensive patient care, medication reconciliation, vaccinations, and phlebotomy in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited school of nursing; ADN allowed if BSN completed within 5 years from start date.
• RN licensure to practice in Virginia (or eligibility).
• BLS certification from American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Performs essential duties for outpatient clinic operations including full intakes.
• Reconciliation of medications.
• Vaccinations, injections and phlebotomy.
• Provide safe, holistic care in a physician practice and outpatient setting.
• Make independent clinical decisions based on education and experience.

Inova OBGYNis looking for a dedicated Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) to join the team. This role will be full time day shift from Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm.

Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) Job Responsibilities:

Performs essential duties necessary to clinic or non-acute operations to include:

• Full Intakes
• Reconciliation of Medications
• Vaccinations/Injections/Phlebotomy

Provides safe/therapeutic care in a holistic and systematic way in a physician practice or other outpatient setting. Incorporates differences into the provision of care while integrating knowledge, skills and experiences to meet the needs of patients and families to include patient and family education. Achieves desired patient outcomes by using an integrated approach.

Incorporates data and information to improve care and enhances outcomes while ensuring improvements in practice settings. Provides direction and guidance to others regarding practice while serving as a resource, preceptor and mentor.

Ensures efficiency in the delivery of care. Determines immediate priorities and offers solutions for problems. Works with the team to achieve maximum productivity.

Makes independent clinical decisions based on knowledge drawn from education and experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.

Licensure: RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse.

Experience: 0 years of registered nurse clinical experience.

Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association.

Preferred Qualifications:

1-2 years of RN experience in Labor & Delivery
