Job summary

Inova Internal Medicine – Falls Church is seeking an Outpatient Registered Nurse to join our busy clinic on a full-time day shift (Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm). The RN will perform essential outpatient duties, provide patient education, and support safe, holistic care in a physician practice setting.

Qualifications

• BSN degree from an accredited nursing program.
• RN licensed or eligible to practice in Virginia.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Performs essential outpatient duties including full intakes, reconciliation of medications, patient education, and vaccinations/injections/phlebotomy.
• Provides safe, holistic care in a physician practice or outpatient setting, addressing patient and family education and outcomes.
• Offers direction and guidance to others as a resource, preceptor, and mentor while ensuring efficient care delivery.
