This full-time, onsite position requires BLS certification, credentialing within 90 days, and involves rooming patients, data collection, and assisting providers with procedures. Salary ranges $18.00–$24.66 per hour, day schedule.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to engage positively with patients and families and to work as a team with staff and providers.
• Ability to use a computer to document required information into the electronic medical record.

Responsibilities

• Performs rooming and/or intake process, collecting data including vitals.
• Collects patient and family data, including history and medications.
• Assists provider during treatments and procedures; collects specimens and performs phlebotomy.
• Administers medications under provider direction.
• Performs tests (e.g., EKG, eye exams) as directed; reviews records for routine screenings.
• Prepares, stocks, and cleans exam/treatment rooms; sterilizes instruments.
• Provides post-visit instructions and educational materials; coordinates test scheduling.
