UNC Health is seeking a Medical Assistant I, Certified to provide clinical and administrative support in an outpatient clinic in Raleigh, NC. Under supervision, you will assist providers, perform rooming, data collection, phlebotomy, and routine tests, while ensuring readiness of exam rooms and patient education.

The position offers day shifts, onsite work, and a $7500 commitment incentive. Certification and BLS are required; a Medical Assisting program is strongly preferred but not mandatory.

Qualificações

• Completion of a Medical Assisting program is preferred but not required.
• Certification as Medical Assistant by AAMA/AMT/CCMA/NCMA/NCCT preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform rooming and intake with vital signs and patient data.
• Collect medical history and current medications and allergies.
• Assist providers during examinations and procedures.
• Perform phlebotomy and administer medications as directed.
• Conduct routine tests (e.g., EKG, eye exams) under supervision.
• Maintain exam/treatment rooms and assist with patient registration and scheduling.
