UNC Health Care is seeking a Medical Assistant II, Certified to provide routine clinical and administrative support in outpatient clinics. You will work under the supervision of a provider and manager, assisting in patient care, rooming, phlebotomy, and administrative tasks across multiple Raleigh locations.

The role requires MA certification and BLS, with at least one year of experience. This position offers onsite work with a 40-hour week and a competitive hourly wage.

Qualifikationen

• Certification as Medical Assistant (AAMA/AMT/CCMA/NRCMA/NCMA).
• Basic Life Support certification (AHA or ARC) required.
• Minimum one year of full-time Medical Assistant experience.
• Completion of a Medical Assisting program strongly preferred but not required.

Aufgaben

• Room patients and record vital signs, height, weight and visit data.
• Assist providers during treatments and procedures as directed.
• Collect specimens and perform phlebotomy.
• Administer medications under provider supervision.
• Prepare, stock, and maintain exam and treatment rooms.
• Assist with registration, check-in/out, and referrals.
• Support emergency situations as directed by a provider or nurse.
