Job summary

SimonMed Imaging in Arizona is seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist to perform screening and diagnostic mammography, including tomosynthesis, with precision and compassionate patient care. You will work in a fast-paced outpatient setting, ensuring image quality, proper compression, and adherence to MQSA/ACR standards while guiding patients through procedures with sensitivity and professionalism.

Eligible candidates hold ARRT certifications, state licensure, and MQSA CEUs; strong

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiography (R) required.
• ARRT advanced certification in Mammography (M) required.
• State license where applicable.
• Current BLS.
• MQSA‑mandated 15 breast CEUs every three years.
• Tomosynthesis and digital training documentation current.
• 1+ year of mammography experience preferred.
• Proficiency in digital/tomosynthesis equipment, RIS, and PACS.
• Strong patient communication skills — especially in sensitive situations.
• Detail‑oriented, organized, and comfortable working independently.
• Willingness to mentor students and contribute to a positive clinical culture.

Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography including tomosynthesis.
• Ensure image quality meets standards and proper compression.
• Explain procedures clearly and reassure patients.
• Maintain documentation and compliance with MQSA/ACR/HIPAA.
• Manage workflow in a fast-paced outpatient setting and monitor equipment.
