Job summary

SimonMed Imaging is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform screening and diagnostic mammography, including tomosynthesis, with precise positioning and optimal compression. You will ensure image quality and thorough documentation while upholding MQSA, ACR, and HIPAA standards.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care, strong communication, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced outpatient setting, with opportunities for mentorship and professional growth.

Qualifications

• ARRT(R) Radiography certification required.
• ARRT(M) Mammography certification required.
• Active state radiologic license where applicable.
• Current BLS certification.
• MQSA-compliant with 15 breast CEUs every 3 years.
• Initial tomosynthesis and digital training documentation complete.

Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography including tomosynthesis.
• Position patients accurately and apply compression with ALARA.
• Ensure image quality, proper labeling, and document QA.
• Maintain MQSA/ACR/HIPAA compliance.
• Communicate with patients to reduce anxiety and explain procedures.
• Manage workflow in a busy outpatient setting.
