Job summary

SimonMed is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform screening and diagnostic mammography, including tomosynthesis, with precision, compassion, and patient-centered communication. You will ensure image quality, maintain QA, and comply with ACR, MQSA, and HIPAA standards in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

You will mentor students, manage workflow, and collaborate with a team that values safety, efficiency, and advanced imaging technology. ARRT credentials and state licensure are required.

Qualifications

• ARRT(R) Radiography and ARRT(M) Mammography certifications are required.
• State radiologic technologist license current where applicable.
• Current BLS certification and MQSA-mandated CEUs are required.
• Initial mammography training documentation complete (25 signed-off exams).
• Tomosynthesis and digital training documentation current.

Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography including tomosynthesis in accordance with ACR, MQSA and facility protocols.
• Maintain image quality, correct labeling and exposure parameters while applying ALARA principles.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care and explain procedures clearly to anxious patients.
• Document and stay compliant with MQSA, ACR, HIPAA standards; keep training records up to date.
• Mentor students rotations and contribute to a positive clinical culture.
