Job summary

SimonMed is seeking a Mammography Technologist who delivers high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography, including tomosynthesis, with precision and compassion. You will ensure optimal compression, correct exposure parameters, and maintain accurate documentation while following MQSA and HIPAA standards.

You’ll work in a fast-paced outpatient imaging environment, manage your workflow independently, and mentor students to uphold clinical excellence and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• ARRT radiography certification (R) required; advanced mammography (M) required.
• State radiologic technologist license where applicable; current BLS.
• MQSA compliance with 15 breast CEUs every 3 years; initial training documentation complete.

Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography including tomosynthesis.
• Ensure image quality and accurate positioning; apply ALARA principles.
• Maintain equipment and perform routine QA in a busy outpatient setting.
• Explain procedures to patients with empathy; provide patient-centered care.
• Mentor students rotating through the department and uphold clinical standards.
