Job summary

The Ohio State University is seeking an Instrumentation Coordinator for the Dublin Outpatient Care location. This role coordinates daily activities between the Operating Room and Sterile Processing, ensuring sterilized instrumentation is prepared, tracked, and delivered to the point of use.

You will support procurement and standardization of instrument trays across the Enterprise and serve as a clinical liaison across sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least one year of experience as instrument processor or Surgical Technologist.
• CRCST or CSPDT certification required within 6 months of hire or upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activities between the Operating Room and Sterile Processing to facilitate efficient case flow.
• Ensure sterilized instrumentation is packaged, sterilized, and delivered to the point of use aseptically.
• Procuring, organizing, and standardizing instrument trays across the Enterprise.
• Serve as a clinical liaison between OR and CSS offsite locations to track instrumentation.
• Support projects and process improvement within the Sterile Processing / Ambulatory Services ecosystem.
