Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking an Instrumentation Coordinator 3 to oversee daily coordination between the Operating Room and Sterile Processing. You will manage case cart assembly, decontamination, and sterilization, ensuring safe, reusable instruments across the Enterprise.

This role requires strong communication and process-improvement skills. Responsibilities include organizing trays, supporting loaner trays, and collaborating with multiple sterile processing sites

Qualifications

• High school graduate or possess the G.E.D.
• At least two years of experience as an instrument processor or Surgical Technologist.
• CRCST or CSPDT certification required on hire or within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activities between Operating Room and Sterile Processing to facilitate efficient case flow.
• Oversee case cart assembly, decontamination, sterilization, and high-level disinfection of reprocessed inventory.
• Lead projects and process improvements and ensure excellent customer service across departments.
