Job summary

The position requires MD or DO, state licensure, and DEA/Furnishing credentials, with expected patient volumes of 14–18 per day across primary and infectious disease care.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with active state medical license.
• Valid DEA registration and Furnishing license.
• Outpatient primary care experience required.
• Ability to manage 14–18 patients daily.
• Active CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and meet productivity targets.
• Oversee scheduling to minimize no-shows and meet benchmarks.
• Document visits the same day or within 72 hours with accurate coding.
• Deliver primary care for chronic and acute conditions.
• Collaborate with front desk, care coordinators and nurses.
• Supervise mid-level providers and perform chart reviews as needed.
• Provide after-hours on-call coverage as assigned.
• Full-time physicians receive protected administrative time.
