Job summary

Ashton North LLC is seeking an Infectious Disease Physician for an outpatient clinic in St. Augustine, FL. This Full-time, direct-hire role focuses on non-hospital outpatient care with no night or weekend shifts.

The position offers base salary with sign-on, quarterly, and retention bonuses, plus a robust benefits package and relocation bonus if needed. Expect 14–18 patient encounters per day and a 401K plan.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with active state medical license.
• Valid DEA registration and Furnishing License.
• Outpatient primary care experience required.
• Ability to manage 14–18 patients daily.
• Active CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and meet productivity standards.
• Oversee patient scheduling to minimize no-shows and meet productivity benchmarks.
• Document same day of visit, or within 72 hours, with accurate E&M billing codes.
• Deliver primary care for chronic conditions and acute issues.
• Collaborate with front desk, care coordinators, and nursing staff.
• Review consultant reports, imaging, and lab results promptly.
• Process prescription renewals within 72 hours.
• Monitor voicemails/emails daily.
• Support patient retention efforts with retention summaries.
• Supervise mid-level providers, including chart reviews or audits.
• Provide after-hours on-call coverage as assigned.
• Full-time physicians receive 4 hours of protected administrative time per week.
