Job summary

SteveRecruiter, LLC is seeking a Physician specializing in Infectious Disease for an outpatient facility in St. Augustine, FL. This role emphasizes clinic-based care with no night or weekend shifts, joining a mission-driven team dedicated to the local community.

The ideal candidate is board-certified in Infectious Disease, licensed to practice in Florida, and comfortable managing 14–18 patients per day in a supported environment. Direct hire with competitive compensation and robust benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have MD or DO with an active, state-appropriate medical license.
• Must have valid DEA registration and Furnishing License.
• Outpatient primary care experience required.
• Ability to manage 14–18 patients daily in a supported environment.
• Must have active CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and meet productivity standards in outpatient setting.
• Oversee patient scheduling to minimize no-shows and meet productivity benchmarks.
• Complete documentation the same day or within 72 hours with accurate billing codes.
• Deliver primary care for chronic and acute conditions, including HIV/STIs, in an outpatient clinic.
• Collaborate with front desk, care coordinators, and nursing staff for urgent care and walk-ins.
• Review consultant reports, imaging and labs promptly.
• Process prescription renewals within 72 hours.
• Monitor and respond to voicemails/emails daily.
• Support patient retention efforts and supervise mid-level providers.
• Provide after-hours on-call coverage as assigned.
