Job summary

6 Degrees Search is seeking a Physician specialized in Infectious Disease for an outpatient facility in St. Augustine, FL. The role requires MD/DO with active licensing, DEA and Furnishing credentials, and outpatient experience. You will manage 14–18 patients per day, with no nights or weekends and on-site work.

The position offers base salary plus sign, quarterly, and retention bonuses, plus a full benefits package and 401K. Relocation support is available if needed.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with an active state medical license.
• Valid DEA registration and Furnishing license.
• Outpatient primary care experience is required.
• Ability to manage 14–18 patients daily in a supported environment.
• Active CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and meet productivity standards.
• Collaborate with care team to support patient well-being.
• Oversee scheduling to minimize no-shows and meet productivity benchmarks.
• Complete documentation the same day or within 72 hours with accurate coding.
• Deliver primary care for chronic and acute conditions (HTN, diabetes, asthma, hyperlipidemia, COPD, infections, HIV, STIs, UTIs, etc.).
• Collaborate with front desk, care coordinators, and nursing staff for urgent care and walk-ins.
• Review consultant reports, imaging, and labs; renew prescriptions within 72 hours.
• Monitor voicemails/emails daily and support patient retention.
