Job summary

Jefferson Radiology, a Radiology Partners practice in Connecticut, is seeking a scheduling professional to coordinate patient appointments across several offices and imaging modalities in an outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Experience with scheduling and/or medical billing application preferred.
• Excellent dictation, communication skills, and telephone manner.
• Good understanding of ICD coding preferred.
• Knowledge of medical insurance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for timely and effective scheduling of patients for multiple offices and modalities
• Demonstrate an understanding of modalities offered at site location and hours of operations
• Modalities include Mammography, Bone Density, Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound, MRI, CT, and Nuclear Medicine
• Direct patient and referring physician contact and accountable for always representing the practice in a pleasant and professional manner
