Job summary

Jefferson Radiology in the Greater Connecticut area is seeking a scheduler to coordinate patient appointments across multiple offices and imaging modalities, including Mammography, Ultrasound, MRI, CT, and more. You will manage direct patient and referring physician contact, ensure accurate scheduling and timely communication, and uphold a pleasant, professional image for the practice.

Competitive hourly pay of $18.00–$24.00, with a robust total rewards package (health, 401(k), paid time off)

Qualifications

• Experience with scheduling and/or medical billing applications preferred.
• Excellent dictation, communication skills, and telephone manner.
• Good understanding of ICD coding preferred.
• Knowledge of medical insurance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate timely and effective scheduling of patients across multiple offices and modalities.
• Understand site offerings and hours of operation for accurate appointments.
• Handle direct patient and referring physician contact while representing the practice professionally.
