Job summary

Jefferson Radiology, a Radiology Partners practice, seeks a Scheduling Coordinator to manage patient appointments across multiple CT, MRI, ultrasound and other modalities in the Greater Connecticut area. The role emphasizes timely scheduling, courteous patient contact, and professional representation of the practice.

As part of a national radiology organization, you will contribute to clinic operations, billing-related tasks, and reliable patient service within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with scheduling and/or medical billing application.
• Excellent dictation, communication skills, and telephone manner.
• Good understanding of ICD coding.
• Knowledge of medical insurance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate timely and effective scheduling for multiple offices and modalities.
• Understand site operations and hours; liaise with patients and referring physicians.
• Represent the practice in a pleasant, professional manner at all times.
• Support scheduling workflows across imaging modalities including Mammography, Ultrasound, MRI, CT, and more.
