Job summary

Jefferson Radiology, a Radiology Partners practice in Connecticut, is seeking a scheduling specialist to coordinate patient appointments across multiple offices and modalities. Qualifications

• Experience with scheduling and/or medical billing applications preferred.
• Excellent dictation, communication skills, and telephone manner.
• Good understanding of ICD coding preferred.
• Knowledge of medical insurance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for timely and effective scheduling of patients for multiple offices and modalities
• Demonstrate understanding of modalities offered at site location and hours of operations
• Modalities include Mammography, Bone Density, Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound, MRI, CT, and Nuclear Medicine
• Direct patient and referring physician contact and accountable for always representing the practice in a pleasant and professional manner
• Schedule: M - 4p-8p, Tue - 4p-8p, Sat 7a-3:30p
