Job summary

Jefferson Radiology, a Radiology Partners practice, serves the Greater Connecticut area with leading outpatient imaging. We seek an ultrasound technologist to perform high-quality exams, assist radiologists with image-guided procedures, educate patients, and maintain safety and infection control standards.

You will document exams in RIS/PACS, coordinate care, and help with equipment maintenance and QA. ARDMS registry is required and CPR certification; emphasis on teamwork, safety, and continuous

Qualifications

• Current certification in CPR recognized by the American Heart Association.
• Current registry by the ARDMS (or registry-eligible and must obtain within one year).
• Must be registered through ARDMS with AB, OB/GYN and RVT (state-specific).

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality ultrasound exams and assist radiologists with image-guided procedures.
• Prepare, position, and educate patients while ensuring safety and infection control standards.
• Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and document exams in RIS/PACS.
• Coordinate patient care by reviewing referrals, ordering labs, communicating results, and supporting scheduling.
• Maintain equipment, quality assurance, ACR accreditation standards, inventory, and train new staff as needed.
