Qualifications

• Prior customer related service experience.
• Preferred: six months in outpatient setting as a Medical Office Receptionist or similar; experience with multi-line phones.

Responsibilities

• Manage phone inquiries and provide courteous customer service.
• Verify patient demographics and insurance.
• Schedule appointments and handle pre-registrations and referrals.
• Process authorizations and other clerical tasks while protecting sensitive data.
• Maintain professional conduct and communicate delays or changes to patients.
