Qualifications

• RN CAP 2 may be entry level for CAP program.
• Minimum 3 months experience in chronic/acute hemodialysis as an RN.
• Current CPR/BLS certification and state licensure.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with active license.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze patient data during dialysis and adjust treatment plan.
• Educate patients and families about care needs and options.
• Deliver safe, effective hemodialysis therapy with the team.
• Administer medications as prescribed and document outcomes.
• Mentor and lead new staff; participate in quality improvement.
