Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification.
• Must meet the practice requirements in the state in which he or she is employed.
• Entry level RN CAP 2 with potential for advancement through CAP.

Responsibilities

• Performs all essential functions under supervision with guidance from the Clinical Educator.
• Collects and analyzes patient data during dialysis and documents in the medical record.
• Educates patients and families about care plans and treatment options.
• Directs daily delivery of safe hemodialysis therapy in collaboration with the care team.
• Initiates emergency response measures as needed.
