Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care seeks an Outpatient RN CAP 2 to join the End Stage Kidney Disease care team. This role includes assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation for an assigned patient group, with potential leadership and teaching responsibilities to other staff.

It features involvement in education, quality improvement, and adherence to policy and regulations, with a focus on safe hemodialysis delivery and patient education.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful CPR BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs all essential functions under the direction of the Supervisor and with guidance from the Clinical Educator, Preceptor or other RNs.
• Collects and analyzes patient data during hemodialysis and updates the care plan.
• Educates patients and families about care needs.
• Delivers safe and effective hemodialysis therapy and administers medications as prescribed.
