Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient RN CAP 1 position within the Clinical Advancement Program. The role involves assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care for an assigned group of patients undergoing hemodialysis, under supervision.

As a member of the End Stage Kidney Disease (ESKD) care team, you will participate in teaching, leadership functions and quality improvement activities to enhance patient outcomes and facility operations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• CPR BLS Certification (CPR/BLS)

Responsibilities

• Perform data collection and analysis of patient data during the hemodialysis process and adjust care plans.
• Provide patient education to patients and families.
• Deliver safe and effective hemodialysis therapy and collaborate with the health care team.
• Administer medications as prescribed and document outcomes.
• Participate in training and orientation of new staff.
