Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry level Registered Nurse into the Clinical Advancement Program (CAP). You will coordinate and deliver clinically competent care for an assigned group of patients undergoing hemodialysis, documenting in the medical record and collaborating with the Interdisciplinary Team to ensure quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Entry level RN with less than 2 years of nephrology nursing experience.
• Chronic/acute hemodialysis experience preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and state licensure required.
• CPR/BLS certification currently active.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care for an assigned patient group.
• Collect/analyze patient data pre-during-post hemodialysis and document in the medical record.
• Educate patients and families about learning needs and care plans.
• Deliver safe and effective hemodialysis therapy in collaboration with the care team.
• Administer medications as prescribed or per approved algorithms and document effectiveness.
