Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level registered nurse for outpatient care within the Clinical Advancement Program (CAP). You will provide and coordinate clinically competent nephrology care, perform dialysis-related duties, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the health care team to improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include data collection during dialysis, medication administration, and emergency readiness.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification.
• Experience: entry level RN with less than 2 years in nephrology nursing.

Responsibilities

• Performs data collection and analysis during hemodialysis and documents in the patient medical record.
• Assesses and educates patients and families about care and treatment options.
• Delivers safe hemodialysis therapy with the care team.
• Administers medications per protocol and documents effectiveness.
• Participates in staff training and orientation; supports quality improvement.
• Assists with emergency response measures.
