Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care seeks an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Clinical Advancement Program (CAP 1) to deliver and coordinate dialysis care. You will assess patients, plan care, and work with RNs, LVN/LPNs, and PCTs to ensure quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful CPR BLS Certification.
• Must meet the state practice requirements.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze patient data during hemodialysis and document in the medical record.
• Educate patients and families on learning needs and care plans.
• Deliver safe and effective hemodialysis therapy and administer medications as prescribed.
• Collaborate with the care team to coordinate daily dialysis care.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in staff training and orientation.
• Support proper lab collection and documentation; schedule missed collections.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
